Comments

When visitors leave comments on the Site, we collect:

  • The data shown in the comment form (name, email, comment content)
  • Visitor’s IP address and browser user agent for spam detection
  • An anonymized string created from your email (hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. Gravatar privacy policy applies.

After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, avoid including embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors can download images and extract this data.

4. Cookies

  • If you leave a comment, you may opt-in to save your name, email, and website in cookies for convenience. These cookies last 1 year.
  • Visiting the login page sets a temporary cookie to check if your browser accepts cookies (discarded when closed).
  • Login cookies last 2 days, screen options cookies last 1 year, and “Remember Me” login persists for 2 weeks. Logging out removes login cookies.
  • Editing or publishing articles sets an additional cookie with the post ID, expires after 1 day.

5. Embedded Content from Other Websites

Articles may include embedded content (videos, images, etc.). Embedded content behaves as if you visited the other website. These sites may collect data, use cookies, embed tracking, and monitor your interaction if you are logged in.

Your personal data is used for:

  1. Processing orders and managing your customer account
  2. Communicating with you regarding orders or account
  3. Legal and fiscal compliance
